TWISTED WILLOW

Grown in Leicestershire, our twisted willow, sometimes known as contorted willow is harvested in December when the leaves have finally fallen. Once cut and stored the willow begins its drying out process. For the next few months the willow is still green and pliable. Eventually, as the moisture leaves the willow it turns into an attractive brown woody colour and becomes a long lasting dried product with its distinctive curly appearance.

These versatile stems can be used in many different ways, as floral arrangements or as stand- alone minimalist features. At festive times the addition of simple lights creates a wonderful natural decoration.
